47 (47) REVIEW AND RESHAPE OF EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGISTS – The Director of Children and Young People’s Service submitted a report seeking approval to make changes to the staffing establishment of the educational psychology service.
The context in which the service was delivered was a rapidly changing one in line with significant, continuous national and local developments to the children’s services agenda, the relationship between local authorities and schools and the financial basis for delivering education services to schools and academies.
A review of the educational psychology service was initiated in June 2011. The report gave details of the outcomes of the review, including financial implications.
Resolved – That the proposals outlined in the report be approved.
