Asset Management, Culture and Housing Cabinet Member – Minutes – 22 November 2012

25                (25) NORMANBY HALL COUNTRY PARK ADMISSION CHARGES 2013-14 – The Director of Places submitted a report seeking approval of the admission prices for Normanby Hall Country Park for the 2013-14 season.

Work needed to start in December 2012 in promoting the park for the 2013-14 season.  To do this effectively the admission prices needed to be agreed so that they could be included in promotional material.

In making recommendations for the prices for the next season, the performance against income targets this year had been taken into account as well as market intelligence from across the sector and current customer views.

Additional information and the proposed prices for 2013-14 were set out in the report.

Resolved – (a) That the proposal for no increase in admission prices and season tickets for 2013-14 be approved, and (b) that the ‘early bird’ promotion for the season ticket, which offered a £1.00 reduction on all season tickets purchased before 1 June 2013, be approved.

The corresponding report of the following item (Minute 26 refers) contains exempt information as defined in Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

26        (26) PROPERTY TRANSACTION SCHEDULES – The Director of Places submitted a report for consideration, and where necessary, approval of a schedule containing the terms of all recently negotiated property transactions.

The schedules covered both operational and commercial property.

Resolved – That the schedules appended to the report be approved.
