15        (15) REGRADING OF EXISTING POST: LEGAL ASSISTANT (LEGAL SERVICES) The Director of Policy and Resources submitted a report which sought approval to regrade a Legal Assistant post in Legal Services.

A job description was produced that accurately reflected the current role of the Legal Assistant and the responsibilities of the post. This job description was processed in accordance with the Council’s Grading Policy and the outcome of that process was that the post was re-evaluated.  In addition, to reflect the responsibilities the job title was changed to Litigation Officer.

Resolved – That the regrading of the post to Litigation Officer at the grade outlined within the report be approved.
