18 (18) PARKING RESTRICTIONS – HIGH BURGAGE, WINTERINGHAM – The Director of Operations submitted a report seeking consideration of an objection received by the council to the proposed traffic regulation order on High Burgage, Winteringham.

Winteringham Parish Council had raised concerns that the redevelopment of the Ferry Boat Public House would increase parking problems on High Burgage.  They suggested that existing parked vehicles were obstructing the bus service and additional parking would increase the problem.  In response, the council proposed to introduce a ‘No Waiting at any Time’ parking restriction in the area in question.

Resolved – (a) That Option 1, to approve the proposed Traffic Regulation, be approved and (b) that officers write to the objector advising of the decision reached.
