3 (3) PROSPEROUS COMMUNITIES FUND – The Executive Director: Commercial submitted a report seeking approval of the criteria to guide the allocation of the new Prosperous Communities Fund, and to consider two applications received for grant aid against the scheme criteria and available funds.

The council recognised the important role that community groups played in making North Lincolnshire an excellent place to work, live and play.  The council had created a Prosperous Communities Fund.  The fund would support the delivery of capital infrastructure projects which improved existing or contributed towards new community facilities.

Criteria had been developed to guide applicants and assess applications.  The new criteria was set out in Appendix 1 to the report.   A summary of the applications was set out in Appendix 2 to the report.

Resolved – (a) That the criteria for the Prosperous Communities Fund, set out in Appendix 1, be approved, and (b) that the following amounts of community grant support be approved:
