4 (4) COMMUNITY GRANT FUND APPLICATIONBARTON PARTNERS IN PLAY – The Director: Learning, Skills and Culture submitted an urgent report which sought consideration of a late application that had been received for Community Grant Aid from Barton Partners in Play.  The application was considered against the scheme’s criteria and available funds.

The council had received a late grant aid application from Barton Partners in Play.  They were seeking funding to deliver a summer playscheme during the school holidays for young people.

Support for Barton Partners in Play would mean that young people living in the Barton area would have access to affordable activities during the summer.   An urgent decision was sought in order to allow for implementation in time for the school summer holidays which commenced on Wednesday 26 July 2017.

5 (5) COMMUNITY GRANT FUND APPLICATION – The Director: Learning, Skills and Culture submitted an urgent report which sought consideration of a late application that had been received for Community Grant Aid from Winteringham Village Hall.  The application was considered against the scheme’s criteria and available funds.

The council had received a late grant aid application from Winteringham Village Hall.  They were seeking funding to provide transport to provide access for elderly residents to the village open gardens event.

An urgent decision was sought in order to allow for implementation before the event took place on Sunday 23 July 2017.
