1315 MINUTES – Resolved – That the minutes of the proceedings of thiscommittee held on 28 January 2016, having been printed and circulated amongst the members, be taken as read and correctly recorded and signed by the chairman.
1316 SUB-COMMITTEE PROCEEDINGS – Resolved – That the minutes of the meeting of the Licensing (Miscellaneous) Sub-Committee held on 18 February 2016 be received.
1317 (36) IMMIGRATION BILL – IMPACT OF THE ACT ON THE LICENSING FUNCTION – The Director of Places submitted a report that informed the committee of the likely changes to the licensing function which were proposed in the Immigration Bill.
The Bill would, as drafted, impact on Premises and Personal Licences issued under the Licensing Act 2003 and for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Drivers.
The Director in his report summarised the proposed changes.
Resolved – That the report be noted.
1318 (37) POLICING AND CRIME BILL – IMPACT OF THE ACT ON THE LICENSING FUNCTION – The Director of Places submitted a report that informed the committee of the likely changes to the licensing function which were proposed in the Policing and Crime Bill.
The Bill would, as drafted, impact on Premises and Personal Licences issued under the Licensing Act 2003.
The Director in his report summarised the proposed changes.
Resolved – That the report be noted.
