196 COLLEAGUE ENGAGEMENT REVIEW – The Chairman welcomed Helen Manderson, Assistant Director Human Resources, and Debbie Searles, Strategy and Performance Officer, to the meeting. The Chairman initiated a discussion on the recent employee survey, centred on the need for improved accompanying guidelines, methods of ensuring feedback, and the implementation of a ‘you said, we did’ model. Members asked a number of questions, including on topics such as benchmarking data, the company that operated the survey on behalf of the council, and methods of ensuring anonymity.
Resolved – (a) That the situation be noted, and (b) that a draft report be prepared and presented to a future meeting of the panel.
