247  DECLARATIONS OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTERESTS AND PERSONAL OR PERSONAL AND PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS AND DECLARATIONS OF WHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS (IF ANY) – There were no declarations of disclosable pecuniary interests and personal or personal and prejudicial interests –

No whip was declared.

248  PUBLIC REQUESTS TO SPEAK – There were no requests received.

249  REVIEW OF IT – The Chairman welcomed Martin Oglesby, Head of IT, Richard Bulmer, Business Enhancement Manager, and Pete Hewson, Principal IT Officer (Digital Services) to the meeting.  The Chairman reminded the panel that Martin, Richard and Pete had been invited to the meeting to conclude the discussions around the council’s IT and Digital Strategy 2013-16.

The Chairman invited Martin, Richard and Pete to provide an overview of the second half of the strategy, and members asked questions throughout.  Issues that were discussed included IT security, data archiving, system upgrades, commercial practice and the self service portal.

Resolved – (a) That the situation be noted, and (b) that Martin Oglesby, Richard Bulmer and Pete Hewson be thanked for their attendance.
