The panel met at the Civic Centre, Scunthorpe.

345  DECLARATIONS OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTERESTS AND PERSONAL OR PERSONAL AND PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS AND DECLARATIONS OF WHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS (IF ANY) – There were no declarations of disclosable pecuniary interests and personal or personal and prejudicial interests –

No whip was declared.

346  MINUTES – Resolved – That the minutes of the proceedings of this panel held on 2 July 2015, having been printed and circulated amongst the members, be taken as read and correctly recorded and signed by the chairman.

347  PUBLIC REQUESTS TO SPEAK There were no requests received.

348  REGENERATING NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE – The Chairman welcomed Marcus Walker, the council’s Assistant Director for Planning and Regeneration to the meeting.  Mr Walker had been invited to discuss with members the progress being made in developing the Able Marine Energy Park.  The Assistant Director also provided further detail on the recent announcement that DONG Energy had signed a Memorandum of Understanding which could see a new major operational hub for DONG Energy at the Able Marine Energy Park for the construction and installation of offshore wind farms.

Mr Walker delivered an oral presentation, before the Chairman facilitated a discussion on the Able Marine Energy Park.

Resolved – (a) That the position be noted, and (b) that the Assistant Director for Planning and Regeneration be thanked for his attendance, presentation and for answering members’ questions.
