The panel met at the Civic Centre, Scunthorpe.
345 DECLARATIONS OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTERESTS AND PERSONAL OR PERSONAL AND PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS AND DECLARATIONS OF WHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS (IF ANY) – Cllr Ogg declared a personal interest as he had relatives working for Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust. No whip was declared.
346 PUBLIC REQUESTS TO SPEAK– There were no requests received.
347 NORTHERN LINCOLNSHIRE & GOOLE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST – DRAFT QUALITY ACCOUNT – Kathryn Helley, Deputy Director of Performance Assurance and Jeremy Daws, Head of Quality Assurance, were welcomed to the meeting by the Chairman. Kathryn and Jeremy gave a presentation on the Trust’s draft Quality Account, performance throughout 2015/16, and priorities for 2016/17. Kathryn described a number of key issues, including compliance with NICE guidelines, infection control, the staff survey, and assisting those with dementia.
Members asked a number of related questions, including on benchmarking and quality matrons.
Resolved – (a) That Kathryn Helley and Jeremy Daws be thanked for their attendance and for answering members’ questions, and (b) that the panel consider and agree comments for submission to the Trust.
