72 (36) APPLICATION FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE – BROUGHTON TOWN TWINNING ASSOCIATION – The Service Director Legal and Democratic submitted an urgent report in connection with this year’s exchange between Broughton and Nozay, France. This year a party of around 30 plus people will be visiting the area from Nozay. A programme of events encompassing local life, industry and hospitality had been arranged. This exchange had been in existence since 1991 and is continuing to grow in strength. The application was for financial assistance towards the costs involved.
Resolved – That a grant of £200 be made to the Broughton Town Twinning Association in the financial year 2009/2010.
