123      (63)  DISABLED FACILITIES GRANT: WAIVER OF LAND CHARGES – The Director of Places submitted a report To inform the Cabinet Member of a request for the waiver of a land charge applied to a Disabled Facilities Grant.

The report outlined the details of the request and the request for a decision was based on the circumstances described within the report.

An urgent decision was requested as the case related to financial hardship and the disposal was being made for reasons connected with the physical and mental health and well being of the recipient of the grant and of a disabled occupant.

Advice from Legal, Finance and Safer Neighbourhoods had been incorporated in to the report.

Resolved – That the request to waive the Land Charge be approved.
