90        (6) BONBY NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN The Director of Places submitted a report to informthe CabinetMember about the outcome of the six week consultation on Bonby Parish Council’s application to have their area formally designated for the purposes of preparing a Neighbourhood Plan, and sought approval to formally designate Bonby Parish Council’s area for the purposes of preparing a Neighbourhood Plan.

The Localism Act 2011 provided the chance for local communities to get involved in the planning of their areas and could neighbourhood plans, neighbourhood development orders and community right to build orders.  Bonby Parish Council had submitted an application which had been published for the six week consultation period.

Details of the proposal and comments received from the consultation were outlined within the report and associated appendices.

Resolved – That the Bonby Neighbourhood Area be formally designated and publicised.

91        (7) BRIGG NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN The Director of Places submitted a report to informthe CabinetMember that Brigg Town Council had applied to have their area formally designated for the purposes of preparing a Neighbourhood Plan, and sought approval to advertise and consult on Brigg Town Council’s application for neighbourhood area status.

The Localism Act 2011 provided the chance for local communities to get involved in the planning of their areas and could neighbourhood plans, neighbourhood development orders and community right to build orders. 

Brigg Town Council were preparing a Neighbourhood Plan for their area and had submitted an application which was appended to the report. The council now needed to consult with the community and other interested stakeholders.

Full details were outlined within the report and associated appendices..

Resolved – (a) That Brigg Town Council’s application for neighbourhood area status be advertised, and (b) a six week public consultation on the application be undertaken.

92        (8) ELSHAM NEIGHBOURHOOD PLANThe Director of Places submitted a report to informthe CabinetMember about the outcome of the six week consultation on Elsham Parish Council’s application to have their area formally designated for the purposes of preparing a Neighbourhood Plan, and sought approval to formally designate Elsham Parish Council’s area for the purposes of preparing a Neighbourhood Plan.

93        (9) SOUTH FERRIBY NEIGHBOURHOOD PLANThe Director of Places submitted a report to informthe CabinetMember about the outcome of the six week consultation on South Ferriby Parish Council’s application to have their area formally designated for the purposes of preparing a Neighbourhood Plan, and sought approval to formally designate South Ferriby Parish Council’s area for the purposes of preparing a Neighbourhood Plan.

94        (10) WORLABY NEIGHBOURHOOD PLANThe Director of Places submitted a report to informthe CabinetMember about the outcome of the six week consultation on Worlaby Parish Council’s application to have their area formally designated for the purposes of preparing a Neighbourhood Plan, and sought approval to formally designate Worlaby Parish Council’s area for the purposes of preparing a Neighbourhood Plan.

The Localism Act 2011 provided the chance for local communities to get involved in the planning of their areas and could neighbourhood plans, neighbourhood development orders and community right to build orders.  Worlaby Parish Council had submitted an application which had been published for the six week consultation period.
