Adults and Children’s Services Cabinet Members – Minutes – 11 August 2015

1 (1) REVIEW OF CARETAKING & CLEANING TEAM (UNIVERSAL PREVENTION SERVICES) – The Director of People submitted a report which sought approval of the proposed new structure for the universal prevention service cleaning and caretaking support team.

The directorate was responsible for a range of statutory functions including Children’s Centres; Preventative Services for vulnerable adults and ensuring sufficient positive activities for young people.

These functions were provided and delivered from a range of public facing operational buildings requiring flexible opening times and responsive facilities management.

Full details of the proposals were outlined within the report and appendices.

Resolved – That the changes to the establishment outlined in option 1 and detailed in appendix 2a and 2b of the report be approved.
