2        (2)  ANNUAL REPRESENTATIONS AND COMPLAINTS REPORT 2014-15 The Director of People submitted a report to present the annual Representations and Complaints Report 2014-15 for social care service for children and adults in line with statutory requirements.

There was a statutory requirement to present an annual report on representations and complaints received about services delivered under the Children Act 1989 and under the NHS Community Care Act 1990.

The Children Act procedure set out three stages under which complaints could be investigated and heard and specified timescales for dealing with complaints at each stage.

The annual report provided a summary of the complaint categories and the outcome of the complaint.
