1 (1) NEW FACILITIES IN WINTERTON – CREATION OF NEW POST – The Director of Places submitted a report seeking approval for the creation of a new post for the operation of the new gym, library and Local Link and skate park facility in Winterton.
The council was investing £1.2m in a new facility in Winterton. This would accommodate a library, Local Link, gym and skate park together at the Winterton Rangers site. As part of the investment the existing library and Local Link would relocate to the new site.
A new integrated operational model had been developed for the facility. A new role of Customer Service and Recreation Officer had been drawn up to deliver all aspects. Existing staffing resources would be reconfigured to deliver the new service.
