Adults & Health and Children, Families & Learning Cabinet Members – Minutes – 7 February 2018

The corresponding report of the following item (Minute 1 refers) contains exempt information as defined in Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

1 (1) TENDER FOR A FRAMEWORK FOR DOMICILIARY CARE PROVIDERS – The Directors: Adults and Community Wellbeing and Learning, Skills and Culture submitted a joint report seeking approval to tender Domiciliary Care services for North Lincolnshire onto a new framework.

Domiciliary care was vital to enable more people to live in their communities safe, well, prosperous and connected.  The services enabled people to live in their own homes for longer.  The council currently commissioned home care arrangements through a dynamic purchasing framework.

The new framework agreement would provide a platform for the delivery of domiciliary care and reablement services for adults and children and young people in North Lincolnshire.

A review of the current framework had been undertaken alongside a review of the current specification and operating model.  A combined all age tender was proposed to increase efficiency and quality.

Resolved – That the proposal to tender Domiciliary Care services for North Lincolnshire onto a new framework, be approved.
