 3.       To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meetings of the committee held on 30 September, and 10 October 2016.

The committee met at the Civic Centre, Scunthorpe.

35  DECLARATIONS OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY, PERSONAL OR PERSONAL AND PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS – There were no declarations of interests made at the meeting.

36  EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLICResolved – That the public be excluded from the meeting for consideration of the following item on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 1 and 2 of part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972(as amended).

37  EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: COMMECIAL – SHORTLISTING – Further to minute 2447 of the council, the committee received an oral report from the Assistant Director: Human Resources on applications received for the above post and provided a summary of work she had undertaken to identify those applicants who met the essential criteria for the post. Five applications had met all the essential criteria for the post and therefore were eligible to be shortlisted for interview by the committee.

The committee considered the applications, together with the Assistant Director: Human Resource’s recommendations.

Resolved – That the five applicants as referred to above be shortlisted, and be invited for interview by the committee on 18 November 2016.
