749  DECLARATIONS OF PERSONAL OR PERSONAL AND PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS AND SIGNIFICANT CONTACT WITH APPLICANTS, OBJECTORS OR THIRD PARTIES (LOBBYING) –  There were no declarations of personal or personal and prejudicial interests.

750  LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1976 TOWN POLICE CLAUSES ACT 1847 – APPLICATION FOR REVIEW OF HACKNEY CARRIAGE/PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLE DRIVERS LICENCE – Further to Minute 738 of this Committee, the Service Director Neighbourhood and Environment submitted a report advising members of an application for review of a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Drivers Licence to be determined by the sub-committee.

(29)  MR D E MITCHAM

Mr Mitcham attended the meeting for consideration of the item and was accompanied by Mrs Mitcham, his wife. Mr Mitcham made submissions and gave an account of the events that had lead to his pending appearance at Grimsby Crown Court.  Mrs Mitcham confirmed that his account was a true representation of the event in question.

Resolved – That the decision be deferred on the grounds that this sub-committee does not feel it has sufficient information until such time that the courts have made their decision.
