297  MINUTES – Resolved – That the minutes of the proceedings of this panel held on 13 November 2014, having been printed and circulated amongst the members, be taken as read and correctly recorded and signed by the chairman.

298 PUBLIC REQUESTS TO SPEAK – There were no requests received.

299 REGENERATING NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE – The Chairman welcomed Jason Whaler to the meeting, the council’s Assistant Director for Business Support.  Mr Whaler had been invited to update members on the developments made on the procurement process over the last financial year, and to provide an overview of the commissioning process and cycle for services provided by others from outside the council.

Mr Whaler guided members through a presentation, before the Chairman facilitated a discussion on how the council and partners procurement processes were assisting the regeneration of North Lincolnshire.

Resolved – (a) That the position be noted, and (b) that the Assistant Director for Business Support be thanked for his attendance, excellent presentation and for answering members’ questions.
