No whip was declared.

378  MINUTES – Resolved – That the minutes of the proceedings of this panel held on 3 December 2015, having been printed and circulated amongst the members, be taken as read and correctly recorded and signed by the chairman.

379  PUBLIC REQUESTS TO SPEAK – There were no requests received.

380  IT HOME AND FIELD BASED SUPPORT – Further to Minute 374, the Chairman welcomed Carl Render to the meeting, the council’s IT Customer Quality and Systems Manager.  Mr Render had been invited to the meeting to update members on the e-mail system replacement and how the migration of accounts was progressing, and how the council could better assist those users who rely on mobile devices to work remotely.

Following the presentation, the Chairman facilitated a discussion between panel members and Mr Render.

Resolved – (a) That the position be noted, and (b) that the council’s IT Customer Quality and Systems Manager be thanked for his attendance, presentation and for answering members’ questions.
