329  DECLARATIONS OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTERESTS AND PERSONAL OR PERSONAL AND PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS AND DECLARATIONS OF WHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS (IF ANY) – There were no declarations or whip declared.

330  PUBLIC REQUESTS TO SPEAK– There were no requests received.

331  (2)  NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE LOCAL SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN ANNUAL REVIEW APRIL 14 – MARCH 15 – The Chairman welcomed Edwina Harrison, Independent Chair of the Local Safeguarding Children Board, to the meeting.  The Chairman explained that the Board had a duty to share their annual review with a number of Boards and Partnerships, including overview and scrutiny, for the sake of assurance.

Edwina gave a comprehensive presentation on the Board and its work in the previous year, looking ahead also to the future.  This included the Board’s priorities, local performance, and a description of the systems in place to protect local children and young people.  Edwina answered a number of questions from members, including on issues such as recent improvements, links and transition arrangements to adult services, steps to identify victims and prevent female genital mutilation, and funding arrangements.

Resolved – (a)  That Edwina Harrison be thanked for her presentation and for responding to members’ questions, and (b) that the Annual Review by noted.
