PRESENT: –  Councillor Robinson in the chair.

Councillors Gosling (Vice-Chair), Ali, J Davison and Mumby-Croft.

The panel met at the Civic Centre, Scunthorpe.

33  DECLARATIONS OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTERESTS AND PERSONAL OR PERSONAL AND PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS AND DECLARATIONS OF WHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS (IF ANY) – There were no declarations of pecuniary interest or personal and prejudicial interests.

No whip was declared.

34  MINUTES – Resolved – That the minutes of the proceedings of this panel held on 8 September 2016, having been printed and circulated amongst the members, be taken as read and correctly recorded and signed by the chairman.

35  PUBLIC REQUESTS TO SPEAK – There were no requests received.

36  (9)  CHILD SAFETY IN CARS – The Chairman welcomed Rob Beales and Richard Hall, the council’s Head of Highways and Neighbourhood Services and Road Safety Team Manager respectively to the meeting.

Mr Beales and Mr Hall had been invited to the meeting to discuss with members child safety in cars.

Following a verbal presentation, the Chairman facilitated a discussion between panel members and Mr Beales and Mr Hall.

Resolved – That Mr Beales and Mr Hall be thanked for their attendance, excellent presentation and for answering members’ questions.
